    I purched a new 570 Ranger HD mid size in 2022. Front drive shafts have excessive play on the diff splines from new. These machines from what I see are sub standard for the hard off road use they are intended for. Here in Australia Polaris use the catchfrase Hardest Working Smoothest Ride. Don't get me wrong they are quit capable off road I like it. Just a lot lacking with metal heat treatment and metal fit. From an Indentured automotive mechanic with 60 years experience as of this year.

    not a good idea to put the bolts and nuts in the yoke its going to throw the balance way out and your going to get too much vibration and cause you more problems,instead of the bolt use set screws with some retaining compound(green loctite) and the small set screws are basically going to fill the metal that you drilled out

    Having trouble getting the spline on the diff to slide into the front prop shaft yoke, any suggestions?

    • @RZRRocks
      @RZRRocks 4 місяці тому

      The splines on your yoke could be worn & flattened, the actual pinion spline is a harder steel than the metal that the yolks are made of, you may want to look at the splines on your yoke, you may have to put a new yolk on and see if that takes care of the issue. Before you actually attach the Yoke to the drive shaft I would do a test fit to see if it will go on, if it will not go on then you have an issue with your opinion that is in the differential. I hope this helps, thanks for watching, see you on the trail.

    What speeds are you going down highway

    • @RZRRocks
      @RZRRocks 10 місяців тому

      We can be on any road in WV that is 55mph & under, I do the speed limit on whatever road I'm on. I have cruised 55mph for up to 4hrs on trips, but I do fluctuate my speed about 3-5mph because I do not like keeping a constant speed no matter what the speed limit is because that is what causes premature belt wear. I've had this machine to 79-80mph & that's where the speed limiter kicks in, it was smooth as silk at that speed, I had my street tires (actual radial car tires) on it at that time. This machine performs awesome on the road with no issues at all. I have done clutch mods to it (Secondary Spring, Primary Spring & Weights), Performance Muffler & my ECU has been Re-Flashed. Best machine I've ever owned. I know I commented on more than just your question but I felt like I should elaborate a little more to possibly help you out. Feel free to ask anything else or comment, Thanks for watching, see you on the trail & or street.

      No, I'm pretty sure that it is not legal in the State of Kentucky to ride on public roads. There are only a few states that allow ATV & UTV vehicles on public highways & streets. My machine is 100% legal to ride the roads in WV, but if it's not legal to ride ATV's or UTV's in other states I want to go to it doesn't matter if mine is street legal or not. • @RZRRocks
      @RZRRocks Рік тому

      I'd say that Emissions laws are the biggest reason they don't put in a better tune. As far as clutches go, they have one of the best clutch assemblies (CVTECH) on the market, they clutch them for basic all around driving, but they do respond VERY WELL to the right aftermarket clutch setup (Primary Spring, Weights & Secondary Spring & Reclocking the Secondary), it wakes them up big time, especially when combined with an ECU Tune.

    That has to have had some vibration issues being out of balance now. They make a set screw for that. It's only as long as a material that you removed it has an internal Allen head. That way you only replace the steel that you took out with the drill.

    What kit and what was the process of making it street legal just bought mines today

    • @RZRRocks
      @RZRRocks Рік тому

      I bought everything (Mirrors & Turnsignals) from Amazon. I actually bought a universal turn signal kit & then purchased more LED turn signal lights so it could be seen easier. The machine came with a decent horn, I also added a good set of Radial tires (But not required). Not sure what State you are from, we have to have a Saftey Inspection done just like a Motorcycle or Car, that has to be done once a year to maintain street legal, & we also require a License Plate too. This machine is a BLAST to drive on the open road, we can legally ride any Blacktop or Concrete road that has a speed limit of 55mph & under. We've driven around 5,000 miles in our state (WV). I have a Re-Flashed ECU, EPI Clutch Kit in Primary & Secondary & a great sounding exhaust that make my Cruising a lot more fun as well. Thanks for watching, See you on the street.

I does ride good, it has a Re-Flashed ECU, EPI Clutch Kit (Different Primary & Secondary Springs, 18gr Weights & the Secondary is also Clocked to B-2. I just recently put 28" All-Terrain Tires on it (looks so much better with the bigger tires). I took the Muffler off & done intense internal Modifications to it (it sounds PHENOMENAL, sounds as good or better than an aftermarket exhaust). I did a turn signal kit w/LED Turn Signal Lights. I live in WV & it's legal in our state to ride an ATV or UTV on any road that has a speed limit of 55mph or under. I've put right at 5,000 miles on it in 2 yrs, 4,800 miles of the 5,000 have been on the street, only 200 miles on the trail. I bought it specifically for me & my Wife to street ride & so far it has been a BLAST!!! Our longest single trip riding the machine was almost 600 miles. It could, but it depends if it's play in the Yokes or play in the U-Joints. If it's in the yoke, then there's a high possibility that it will fix it. Thanks for watching, see you on the trail.

    Love your vidios but if every one did 2 wheel drive there would be nothing but ruts. I don't get the point.

      It's just a challenge thing, I'm not one to use 4wd unless I absolutely have to. I don't rip & tear up a trails, so when I can't move forward any longer then I use 4wd. It's just a challenge game, Lol. Thanks for watching, see you on the trail.

      We do a lot of street riding, that's why it has street radials, their General Radials 225/75/14. I have a set of 27" Zillas for the trail, but we haven't had time to go for a while. Hopefully won't be long, Thanks for watching, see you on the trail.
